What is it?

The Be Brave Be Bold (B4) programme is a peer-led project designed to support Year 5/6 pupils transitioning to secondary school. We work with selected primary and secondary schools to ease this transition and promote emotional wellbeing. We can also work with voluntary and community organisations working with young people aged 9-14.

This programme focuses on teaching pupils how to:

  • Take care of their mental health

  • Build mental resilience

  • Improve their social and peer mentoring skills

Target Audience:

This programme is for:

  • Year 5/6 pupils preparing for secondary school 

  • Year 7/8 students who will mentor younger pupils

  • Parents, carers, and schools

Where does it run? 

You can access this programme if you are a primary or secondary school based in:

  • Barnet

  • Enfield

How To Access This Service:  

Accessing our service is easy:

  • Schools: If you are a primary or secondary school you can volunteer to participate if located in Barnet or Enfield.

  • Parents/Carers: You can support your child’s transition by encouraging their school to participate.
