Move Beyond Cancer is a new community initiative supporting Somali, Iranian, and Eastern European communities in North Central London who are living with or have been impacted by cancer. Through peer support, tailored physical activity, and information sharing, participants can feel empowered, supported, and connected.

The programme aims to:

  • Provide a safe space to meet others impacted by cancer
  • Share stories and advice about the benefits of staying active during and after treatment
  • Encourage physical activity through exercise sessions and walk-and-talk groups
  • Reduce isolation and improve mental wellbeing within our communities
