Guiding CB Plus to make a real impact.

CB Plus is guided by a dedicated and ambitious board of trustees. Working alongside our CEO, Katy Lewis, and the senior leadership team, they provide the strategic oversight, insight, and experience that enable the organisation to grow, innovate, and make a real difference in the communities we serve.

Our trustees bring expertise across healthcare, social care, finance, diversity, and community development, helping CB Plus seize opportunities and deliver high-quality services to as many people and organisations as possible.

CB Plus is recruiting new Trustees!

Do you want to help strengthen communities across London? We’re looking for people who care about community impact to join our Board.

Experience in finance, HR, public sector commissioning, or business development is especially helpful, but you don’t need previous Board experience. Passion and good judgement matter most.

As a Trustee, you’ll help shape CB Plus’s future direction through quarterly meetings and occasional strategy sessions.

Prithma Athwal-Shah

Prithma works in the private sector and has a diverse skill set across a range of organisational disciplines. Her trustee involvement aligns with her commitment to fostering community engagement and support. Alongside her professional work, Prithma is passionate about mentoring women in the charity sector, demonstrating a strong dedication to supporting others in a similar field.

Michael Lassman

Michael is a diversity and inclusion trainer and public speaker, with a passion for equity and social justice, currently a senior advisor to the Irish Centre for Diversity. He is committed to being part of a thriving local community, leading him to be a trustee of CB Plus and Barnet Giving, two charities addressing the needs of the disadvantaged people in the community. He is also the chair of the Federation of Small Businesses (London). Environmental concerns are high on Michael’s agenda. He is a passionate gardener, growing his own organic produce at his allotment and in his large garden.

Sharon Rutter

Sharon worked as a solicitor until her retirement four years ago. Her work was spent in private practice in central London, specialising in commercial and residential property work. Sharon combined work with raising two children (now adults), whilst also taking on various voluntary roles, including being a governor of several schools or colleges and an active member (sometimes committee member) of various voluntary organisations. Sharon joined CB Plus in 2020, and since retiring has also been helping at a foodbank supply hub and has mentored various young refugees. Sharon is a member of the Risk & Compliance Committee and also helps with matters relating to governance.
