Trustee (Voluntary Role)

Help shape the future of CB Plus and strengthen communities across London.

Our Board of Trustees provides strategic leadership and governance for the organisation, supporting our CEO and leadership team to deliver impactful services for local communities.

We are particularly interested in people with experience in finance, HR, public sector commissioning, or business development, but we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who care about community impact.

Time commitment: Quarterly board meetings plus occasional strategy sessions (around 12–15 days per year).
Location: Mostly remote with occasional in-person meetings.
Role type: Voluntary (expenses reimbursed).

Mental Health Youth Worker

Join Brent Young People Thrive and support children and young people to build resilience, access early mental health support, and improve emotional wellbeing.

The Mental Health Youth Worker will deliver mentoring, resilience and wellbeing programmes, facilitate peer support, and work collaboratively with schools, families, and local mental health services. This role is key to providing early intervention and strengthening young people’s mental health in the community.

We welcome applications from experienced youth workers or mental health practitioners with knowledge of safeguarding and early intervention. Relevant qualifications or experience in youth work, counselling, or mental health support are desirable.

Hours: Part-time (3 days per week), full-time may be considered

Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Location: Hybrid – home and Brent, with potential to support across other boroughs

Contract: Until 31 March 2027
