Celebrating Black-led Businesses in Barnet
We’re excited to announce that CB Plus is hosting a Black Business Fair at Brent Cross Shopping Centre this October as part of our Unity Rise project – an initiative dedicated to empowering and supporting Black-led businesses in Barnet.
The fair will showcase the incredible talent, creativity, and innovation of local entrepreneurs, service providers, and creatives, giving them a platform to connect with the community, build networks, and grow their visibility. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover unique products and services, meet inspiring business owners, and learn more about the resources available to support Black-led enterprises.
About Unity Rise
Unity Rise, funded by Trust for London, is a new initiative aimed at empowering and supporting Black-led businesses in Barnet. The project focuses on increasing visibility, creating networking opportunities, and opening doors to new resources and support. By exploring the barriers local Black entrepreneurs face, Unity Rise advocates for meaningful change, connects businesses with partners and stakeholders, and helps strengthen the long-term sustainability and growth of Black-led enterprises in the community.

Who Can Take Part?
We are inviting Black-led businesses in Barnet to register their interest in participating in the fair. This is your opportunity to showcase your products, services, and talents to a local audience and connect with fellow entrepreneurs. The event is open to a variety of businesses, whether you offer a product, service, or creative work.
Monica explains: “The Black Business Fair is a celebration of Black-led businesses, showcasing excellence, innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship at the heart of our community.”
