What is it?

Barnet Young People Thrive Talking Therapy supports 17 to 25-year-olds facing mild to moderate mental health challenges, including those struggling with university , life or work pressures and social challenges.

This Programme Offers:

  • CBT-based webinars

  • Group sessions 

  • 1-2-1 interventions 

Target Audience*

This service is for young people aged 17 to 25 who are experiencing low level mental health difficulties such as:

  • Mild to moderate anxiety disorders

  • Low mood 

  • Mild to moderate depression

  • Low self-esteem

*We are here to support people leaving CAMHS and transitioning into adult services, but do not reach the threshold for CAMHS or AMHS.

Our services are not suitable for those experiencing high level mental health difficulties, or those living with or have a recent history of:

  • PTSD

  • OCD

  • Sexual and/or physical abuse

  • Self harm and/or taking life by suicide

Where does it run? 

You can access the therapeutic sessions in various locations: 

  • Schools

  • Colleges

  • Community based settings

  • Online (Zoom/Teams)

How To Access This Service:  

Accessing our service is easy:

  • Referral Sources: GPs, schools, universities, community centres, parent/carers, colleges, voluntary and community sector organisations, youth groups and local authority and NHS providers. 

  • Self-Referrals are welcome here.
