Barnet Friends’ Three Approaches to reducing loneliness:

We strive to foster a sense of belonging and social connection for those experiencing isolation or loneliness, offering a supportive and friendly voice to talk to, when they need it.

Our trained volunteers offer a listening ear and empathetic support to those going through difficult times, providing a space for individuals to express their feelings and concerns.

We provide information about local resources and services that may benefit our clients, connecting them with other organisations and opportunities in the Barnet community.

Barnet Friends Provides Lifeline of Friendship and Support.

“Barnet Friends has been extremely helpful and supportive to me during the last year. I now have a friend who’s on the same wavelength, kind, and caring too. I really look forward to speaking to her because we have a mutual understanding for each other.”
